7th Grade Hero Projects
The 7th graders interviewed people they believe are heroes or work for an organization they think does heroic work. Executing this project requires students to write an email to stranger requesting an interview. They then take the interviews and craft them into articles. The students learn a lot of soft skills in this project such as writing a formal email, scheduling a conversation with a stranger and crafting interesting questions for the interview itself. The students then turn the interview into an article.
