7th Grade Immigration Projects
As we read the immigration story of Abdi Iftin in Call Me American. I asked students to research their own families immigration journeys. It is important for students to learn how to perform interviews and turn those interviews into articles. Students were able to learn a new skill and maybe something about their own families.
